Hi, I just wanted to say if you are in a bad financial situation at the moment, please don’t feel bad, guilty or shame.  Not only will these feelings not help, they are simply not true.  How I ended up in the world of finance after losing my ability to walk properly from my nursing career, was that my parents had gone bankrupt (through bad advice from an accountant who went bankrupt himself a year later), I was physically and financially broke and had just lost my nursing career. I took all of that as a sign I needed to learn about money.  Even once I was well on my journey I have had some big hiccups, including receiving 3 letters from the bank stating they were going to foreclose on my mortgage because the family members I had living in the house were not making the payments they said they would. If there is one thing I have learned from all of that it is that guilt, blame and shame will not help.
